On 12th October 2009 Askmore Communications Ltd attended The Houses of Parliament for a networking event organised by Flintshire Business Week. Accompanying Askmore as our guests were Mrs Jackie Bailey - our Account Manager from NEC, and John Dowd from Vertech Solutions.

What an amazing evening! It was hosted by our local MP - Rt HON David Hanson in the Terrace Pavillion, and speeches were given by Rt HON Peter Hain, Secretary of State for Wales, and Chairman of Flintshire Council - Councillor Legg.

A great opportunity was had to get Askmore's name spread a little wider, and make further contacts in the local business world.

Yet again, Askmore Communications Ltd have been nominated for prestigious business awards! This time the local Flintshire Business Awards 2009. The awards are to be held at The St Davids Park Hotel, Ewloe. North Wales. We are proud to have been nominated for the small business category and for our MD to have been nominated for the Business Person category!

In May 2009 we recruited extra Siemens trained engineers to cope with our fast expanding customer database. 

In April 2009 Askmores Communications Ltd became the 1st comms company in the UK to seat  20 SIP TRUNKS (Session Initiation Protocol) on a single connection. An amazing feat, considering that as a company we had never attempted to utilise SIP trunks previously....

This is groundbreaking, so much so that Askmore are to be made part of a case study detailing how we achieved this, and how we came to propose this solution to one of our customers.

The customer has expressed their delight in the quality of voice, and the support during install of this complex solution we are very proud of!

We believe that the load balancing of 4 ADSL connections with 8 connections of SIP on each has never been implemented and performed previously by any other provider.
